December and 24 busy days ahead. I was in perfect time when it comes to having cookies ready for guests coming this month, but that showed to be a bad disposition…
Reggie, I thought no one looked at this count down, since I haven´t made any post for a long time, but now that I know you do, I will continue. Thank you for your – always – encouraging and inspiring comments.
These cookies are called Jude Cakes, it’s an absolute favorite among many people, and one of the Christmas cakes that you can buy in the shops. They are made of flour, butter and sugar. On top is cinnamon and sugar. The name relate to the Jewish bakeries who used exotic spices, which was a new experience to the Danes in the 1700s.
Ooh, those look yummy, Birgitte! What are they?
And I am so pleased you are backing to doing the December count-down! 🙂 I look forward to this every year.
