Summer in Denmark

This is how a Danish summer garden should look, – and it sometimes does.

This is how a Danish summer garden should not look, – but it does.

A little (big) something…

Isa told me that she would send me “a little something”.

Having received the parcel, I must say this is a big understatement; Isa has made a very  beautiful quilt collage inspired by one of my collages. Every little square in this quilt is perfectly selected and made to match the images on the photo collage. When I opened the parcel, I saw that immediately, take a look and see what you think.
What a wonderful surprise, thank you so much, Isa.

Some of Isa´s quilts; here another here and one more here

Rosenborg Castle

To crop photos is fun. Most photos can be cropped to tell more than one story. I like to look for and find different stories in my photos. This photo was taken yesterday, when I passed Kings Garden in Copenhagen. I couldn´t help looking for a few stories in it. Rosenborg.

Food

Photos of some ordinary Danish dishes:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with almonds, raisins and milk. Lunch: ryebread with liver pate and beetroot , and for dinner a tart with salmon and mixed vegetables.
My contribution to Scott Thomas assignment 11 “Food”.

Assignment invitation

Scott Thomas has made a new assignment, this time it is on  Food Photography. If you would like to join, please go to Scott´s blog here and read about the details. Post your photo before 26 January at midnight. My pizza above was still not ready to be eaten when this photo was taken, just like my contribution to this assignment. I´m working on it to the last moment. It will be interesting to see food from all over the world, so please join the party.

Snowman

A snowman to entertain you while I am busy elsewhere…I´ll be back soon.

2010 in review – sent in a mail from WordPress.

Like every other WordPress blogger, I have received an email, containing the following information. Michaela had to tell me, I hadn´t seen it, but here it is.
The rose from my mothers garden is still at the top of the list, and number 86 out of 61 million photos at a Google photo search. The collage of Deannas jewelery is number two, this collage is number 80 out of 45 million photos. Light and shadow is also a subject of interest, the photo is number 6 out of 47 millions. Finaly I am proud to see that my collage inspired by the “Yes we can slogan”, now is number 51 out of 610 million photos. I am glad to know that my work are being used. Thank you to every visitor. I´ll leave the scene to WordPress now:
