Nye wrote in her comment: I’m so fascinated by the place that I had to look it up and it’s interesting to know that they’re the country’s oldest royal gardens and were established in the Renaissance style by Christian IV in the early 1600s. I can’t imagine what it was like back then.

In the city LYNGBY – about 10 km from Copenhagen-, they have managed to preserve some of the old houses, restore them and let the cosy village atmosphere stay alive. This part of the city is called the “Farmer-city”.

Christmas is near, and the left over NISSER for sale…normal price 89.95, now only 10.- ….poor nisse!

Every day, The royal Danish Guards are marching through Copenhagen.
