Fall is back

autumn tarding

Fall is back and I am back.
After having searched for my log on information for a long time, since WordPress apparently had given up every hope on further posts from my side, and locked me out. Or perhaps the locking out was caused by my old computer, which also sometimes choose to close everything, when the expectations and the ability doesn´t match together – just like we older people do now and then, when we realize that there is a black hole where there ought to be a codes and other important information.

We might have something in common, the computer and me, but when it comes to solving problems by having a nice cup of coffee, we are definitely opposites. Or… it might of course be a sure way to get a new updated computer. I´ll consider that.

The low light fight

autumn

The low light fight has begun.

It definitely is autumn, low tempetature, falling leaves and decreasing daylight, all signs that can´t be misunderstood. On the other hand, September was almost warmer than summer, and the warmest September Denmark have ever had. (The average of the highest daytime temperatures have never been higher).Buttom line is, that the weather is unpredictable and cant be trusted anymore as  calender.
Luckily there is another reliable sign which can be used instead – perhaps a bit too eager but never mind -, that is the Christmas candy sale. I saw the first one today, and I know for sure now, that there is a long time to Christmas, and there will be many low light days to fight, before the turning point at December 22. (Sun rise 8:38am  sunset 3:39pm)
Let the fight begin.

Frost

It is December, winter, and yet almost surprising to see frost on leaves. Climate Change.

Why do I blog? Danish nature photos.

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Million-Dollar Question.”

Why do I blog?

My answer is as simple as my photos. I blog to share the beauty I see around me, outside in nature. The same beauty as everyone else can see, if not too busy to stop.

It is my 8th year of blogging on WordPress, and still nature delivers new subjects each and every day.

I am thankful to see others enjoying my finds, as well as I enjoy to see theirs.

That is why I am blogging.
