Venus and Jupiter

It looks like a little dust at the photo, but it is Venus and Jupiter at my Copenhagen sky, March 22 .

A little music for Scott´s assignment

Once again an assignment has been arranged by Scott Thomas, this time with the subject “The rules of thirds”. Deadline was yesterday, I haven´t had time for joining it, so I will let this musician play a tune while Scott draw the winner of the price, and write the traditional recap. Always an interesting read.

A sign without much effect.

“Henstillen af cykler udenfor stativerne forbudt”  If you don´t understand what this means, don´t worry, obviously no one does. (If you must know, it means something like : it is forbidden to place your bike outside the stand.)

My rainy hometown

My intention was to find historical places a sunny day, but reality has often other plans. After a warm period, the weather has changed and is now as unreliable as it use to be. My contribution to Scotts assignment became a stack of wet and blurred photos, taken from the car. While it was running. I suppose you can call them snap shots, at least I was surprised to find some which could be used. I still have plans for going a sunny day, but who knows when that will be…more rain tomorrow. I´ll tell more about the buildings later.

I suppose you have heard about the beer Tuborg?  The old building seen from “Tuborgvej” (Tuborg-street).

We buy a lot of  rainwear in this country. Østerbrogade (East-bridge-street) is from 1647.

Eastport trainstation. (1897)

Near quay Langelinie,  The little mermaid is hiding behind the trees at left.

A short visit  from a giant. “MSC Poesia” at quay Langelinie.

Wednesday’s photos

December 15

A very very cold frosty evening in Tivoli. The little shop selling gloves was full of people with blue fingers.

December 14

If you once had tasted a Danish hot dog, you will probably also be looking for a hot-dog stand as the first thing to do, having arrived Copenhagen. This is called a Pølsevogn. (sausage wagon)

Autumn in my area

“Autumn in my area”, – is my contribution to Scott Thomas new assignment. Pleas join it if you like.

Nyboder, Copenhagen

A few snaps from “Nyboder” in Copenhagen, (close to a trainstation)  wich I was passing the other day.
