Confidence
When I first saw a Green Shieldbug, busy climbing a very green plant, I was impressed to see how nicely nature had made it almost invisible. When I saw these two carefree bugs today, I had to lower my level of being impressed…unless we are dealing with feeding next step of the food chain. On second thought, I am impressed again.
Ladybird
Looks like we will get good weather again pretty soon.
A very wet Great tit
My third everyday photo in the Facebook challenge is a good example of how everyday can be extraordinary if one keep eyes and ears open. I heard sounds from a water filled previous sandbox, which we had left, behind a barn. Probably an animal playing – it was very a hot day. Quietly I went there with my camera ready, expecting to see a funny sight and get a nice shot.
But what I saw was a little bird which had fallen into the water, probably on its first attempt to fly. I quickly grabbed a spade, and lifted the little wet bird – a Great tit – up from the water, – it looked as it was almost dead. Next thing was to let the warm sun dry the feathers, it took a while, and the little thing had to rest in the meantime, but slowly it began to look like a bird again. About an hour later, it raised its little head and looked at me as if saying: “…What are you staring at, have you never seen a bird before?…” Then it took two or three bird-jumps into the green bush, and in less than a second its mother was by its side, ready to feed it. Wow, I had saved a bird, that was..great..tit.
“…What are you staring at, have you never seen a bird before?…”

My cat friend
My little cat friend are visiting the garden every day now. We play with the stick you can see at the photo.
This cat is extremely fast and fearless, it climbs any tree in the garden, and walk out on the thinnest branches, without any problem. The other day, when it was entering another garden where some children were playing, I heard one of them ask “What is this, -is it a cat? – it looks like a lion”.
Talking of wild animals, I´d like to present you to some of the wonderful and colorful paintings of tigers the Danish painter Uffe Christoffersen has made.
My cat friend
Today has been a relatively warm day, for a change, it will be cold again soon. I went out to work a bit in the garden, and as soon as I started to remove dry leaves with the rake, my cat friend appeared and was ready to continue playing, just as we did in autumn. When we didn´t play, it just lay beside me and enjoyed the warm sun. I suppose we are true friends now.
