February inspiration
January has ended and the last of the 3 winter month have started. A dark winter can be a challenge for the level of energy, and as I have been blogging since 2008, I have experienced more than once, a period with difficulties getting ideas and finding the right words, despite all the best will. It takes much more time to make a post if inspiration is missing, and most people feel in lack of time. I have noticed that this is a common issue, but so is the solution;-it is to read other blogs and find inspiration again. There are always someone who can push the creative button. Fellow bloggers have inspired me many times, so my goal for this month is to post photos as pay back. I will try to find as colorful or strange photos as possible.
When it comes to answer comments, I apologize for being late sometimes, it is caused by the language barrier.
It is I who must thank you for the inspiration I often get from your blog. February is the month of love and you have started it off fittingly.
Is February the month of love? I didn´t know, but there is of course the Valentines day. Very well then, now I have an excuse to post a lot of my rose photos. 🙂
I will look forward to your photos!
Thank you, Montucky, I hope I can post something that will make you feel a bit inspired then. 🙂
I think that is a good solution – reading other people’s blogs is a good way to get inspired. The problem is that one sometimes falls behind with reading and writing – because there are so many other important things needing our attention – and then it can be quite daunting to blog again.
Your photos are lovely, Birgitte. I hope it gets warmer again soon.
Blogging again after a break is difficult, to me because it leaves one with an unpleasant feeling of having been lazy with commenting other blogs and answering ones own. I find the “Like” button useful as an sign of having seen or read a post but without time to write, though I can see it also are being used otherwise. I feel confident that good old blogfriends accept breaks, though it of course always is a bit worrying. 🙂
I love reading your words about inspiration; you are definitely a source of inspiration for me. This Winter is particularly cold and dark but today’s sun makes up for the past weeks. I have been slow lately, your pictures bring me back behind the screen. Thank you Birgitte, I love this composition and look forward to seeing more.
Thank you Isa, I am happy to know that the photos have had an effect, though I hope you won´t be sitting at the screen for too long. 🙂 It is indeed a long and cold winter, and at this time of the year, it seems like if it never ends. I miss the possibility to go out and work in the garden, – or play with the foreign cat. In my imagination, your winter seem to be a wonderland of snow, and in the coming week, thousands of Danes will come to play in it. It is the week where schools are closed for winter holiday.
