New assignment

The first image that comes to mind is a woman putting on a pair of those filmy stockings we used to wear, slipping her hand inside to ease the stocking over her foot – except that of course even in the colorful Sixties I don’t remember stockings in quite that shade or pattern . . . not that it matters because I can perfectly well see that it’s not stockings, or even silky, but there you go. This assignment is producing an extraordinary variety of Very Interesting Approaches.
Oh yes, I see what you see, a silky surface. No doubt that this assignment will activate our imagination more than usual. I know how such a question without answer can disturb a lot, so I´ll secretly tell you that this is a plastic bag for bread. Ryebread. The little pretzels, seen as a pattern, is their logo. Finishing one question often just make space for another, and this could be; What is the connection between ryebread and stockings…sorry, I tryed to clean up and now it´s even more messy…
It is proving to be very popular. Thank you for the link back. This is exactly the kind of photo you described to me. Love the colors and soft overall look without giving away specifics. Instead, I enjoy seeing the textures, shapes and lines.
Of course it is a popular assignment, – it´s fun. Glad you like the photo. I´m not telling you what it is, since you didn´t ask. 😉
What is it, Birgitte??
Tracy, this is a very ordinary thing, a plastic bag for ryebread. Sorry that it wasn´t more exotic! 🙂
Ha! Well done! 🙂
And the toothbrushes – you didn’t tell about the toothbrushes. (What are they doing in the bread wrapper anyway???) 🙂
You are right, there is a toothbrush…I had to think a little about that, but now I understand, after having read the recent comment from Nye; – those whoever it is, who comes in peace – have of course brought some food for the journey (I suppose they have had a long trip) and a toothbrush. Who would leave home without. Now that the food has been eaten, they use the empty plasticbag as a toiletry bag, they like recycling. This explanation sounds resonable to me, except that I am wondering about how their plastic bag ended in my house.
I thought it looks like something from the future, I come in peace! 🙂
It sounds comforting that they will come in peace. You gave me an idea to answer Gerry´s question about why there apparently is a toothbrush at the picture,- which actually just is a plastic bag for rye bread. But a blurred photo can be anything, exciting and exotic.
