December 13

Today is the day of Santa Lucia. I haven´t seen any celebration of it yet, so you´ll have a photo of these two nisser instead. I will look for Lucia brides, if you can´t wait, please look at my post from last year, or the year before.

Lovely photo of nissers overlooking the water. Wondering what kind of mischief they may make with it.

One never knows how Nisser will behave,- except if they are treated well, and get rice pottage regularly. Perhaps I better put some in their bowl.

Ohhhh – the nisser look so sweet! Look at their tiny turned-up toes and their cunning little caps. Surely they aren’t plotting anything. Wait, wait . . . Cowboy! Put that down! Cowboy!!!! Back later.

What happened, did the cowboy get jealous? The person who made these two nisser must have had very good experiences with Nisser, to make them look this friendly.

Lovely nisser, bringing light and warmth to the cold night. Love their hats 🙂

There is something sweet about these two Nisser, I have been looking at them to find out why they look more cute than so many others. I think it must be the proportion between size and shape, and the possibilities in the material they have been made of. Just like the fact that the dimensions of a baby face appeal to a wish of protecting. Nature is clever. 🙂

giiid, they look adorable. Did you buy a bunch when they were on sale last year?

No, this one is from my mothers box with Christmas decorations. I too think they look adorable. They carry a pot for rice pudding, it is used for a little candle.
