Wet spring

It is told that the next two-three days will be sunny, with temperatures a little higher than the 12-17C we are having today. Hopefully it won´t cause heatstroke for anyone.  These photos are from the past week.

Please notice that Scott Thomas has made a new assignment, open for everyone.

I’m crossing my fingers that you get more than just 2-3 days of sun and warmer temps.
    Love your tulip photo!

Thank you for the crossing. It doesn´t look too good at the forecast, but lets see. They could be wrong…

Oh, Birgitte, I feel your pain! (Your photos certainly capture the misery but THEN, there is that beautiful tulip!) We had such a long, wet, cold winter and then this spring, for a very long time was cold and wet and windy. We seem to have finally broken away from that weather pattern and it has been so good to see the blue sky and feel the sunshine. I am SURE this is on its way to you, too! Keep the faith!

Thank you, I will,, and while waiting for the good weather, I am enjoying yours and other sunshine bloggers warm photos. (Love your squirrel)
There has been flood in Polen and the area around there, at least we haven´t had any of that, but I wouldn´t be surprised, if we suddenly get a very and too hot summer.

Thank you for the link, Birgitte! You are having a bad run of weather, aren’t you? We are back into clouds and rain today after a sunny weekend. Crossing fingers it clears for the weekend.

    Ditto on the tulip photo.

There are good things to say about this weather; – no pollen allergy yet, and no problems with UV light for my son. No problem with finding summer shoes and clothes (yet?) and no problem with spending time inside, trying to be creative with exposures.
Thank you for the finger crossing!

Brrrr, that looks chilly, wet and dismal. I love the bright splash of colour of the tulip photo in the middle of all the grey.

Hang in there, Spring is definitely on the way. Autumn has already arrived down here in South Africa, so that’s why I know that it must be spring up north. ;-P

This tulip is a loyal solist, appearing every year at the same strange place in the garden, and always very tall and proud looking. If we ever move out of this house, I must remember to take it with me. 🙂 Thank you for commenting this, Reggie.
Btw: you are having your own little golden spot on my visitors map. 🙂

Looks like you are having a very wet spring, indeed. We would love some of your rain! Just a little bit. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could share rain across the planet? That way no one would get too much or too little.

It would be very nice if it was so. I am sure this will be possible one day! Thank you for your comment, Kathy.

I would never wish you more rain than you wanted, but I must say you have a gift for making wonderful rain images. The street scenes are so familiar–and so different in subtle ways. I like being somewhere Away on a rainy afternoon.

Rainy days do have several possetive sides. Thank you for the compliment, I´ll look foreward to more water and perhaps more honour… 😉
