A Pick-me-up reward

Once more Scott Thomas has completed his assignment, with a detailed recap mentioning all of us who were attempting. Well done! It is almost as interesting to read this, as it is to see the photos. You should definately have some kind of reward…how could this be made…

When I visited Scott´s blog yesterday, I red that he appreciated a good “pick-me-up” these days. Very well, i´ll make one for you. Here it is,  a mosaic of the increasing sunlight.

Thank´s for a fun assignment, – and the recap.

Thank you, Birgitte!!! 😀 I am thrilled and touched you would do this for me.

Don´t worry. As we do not use this frase, -to be picked- up in Danish, I´ll expect it for most unlikely that anyone (here at least) will misunderstand. Actualy I think it sounds pretty good.
    I´m glad it worked. 🙂

We are longing for the sun, and love to see signs of it´s comming. Sunlight can be a true pick-upér. I suppose you have a slightly different view on this, living in Australia? 🙂

I agree with Scott, this is amazing. It definitely caught my attention. Looks like it took you a long time, but definitely worth it.

Hi Maggie. I am glad to know that you was noticing this mosaic. Thank you for your compliment. Making a mosaic like this is being in a timeless zone. It is apparently the same as modern times are calling “flow”.

Birgitte, I have something on my blog today which I hope will brighten up your day.

It certainly did. Your personel tradition of singing a happy sunshine song the first day with 70F is an example to follow. I´ll think of a way to mark 70F here, it will possibly take some time before we reach this, but it will give me time to be creative. Thank you for the bright idea.

Those are such peaceful images of light. Back in the day, when Rob the Firefighter got home from school, we would sit in a patch of sunlight that came through the french doors, and cut up a piece of fruit in another patch of light that splashed across the oak table, and murmur about our days. You made an especially beautiful collage with this one.

You are right, they are peaceful, I didn´t think of that. You have painted a very sweet and warm picture before my eyes, I enjoyed to imagine the situation.

Yes, a lovely pick-me-up for this time of year when the sun is somewhat fickle. Good job!

Thank you Kathy, for the compliment and for a new word; fickle. I am still collecting. 🙂
