December 23
Busy day! I almost was too late to write this post before midnight. We are preparing the food for tomorrow, the gifts, the nice clothes…this evening is called “lille juleaften” (Little Christmas eve), some families and some friends meet to have a nice dinner or just a cosy evening together.
These are so cute!
Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas to you and your family 🙂
Seasons Greetings to you and you family Birgitte! I really loved reading about your Christmas preparations in Denmark.
All my very best wishes for a fantastic 2009 – I hope you continue your blog as I love to visit to see what you have decided to photograph

Merry Christmas from Deanna in Aotearoa – New Zealand
These are so cute! Do you make them yourself?
Thank you for all the Christmas greetings. 🙂
I haven´t made the small “Julebuk” myself, they are just ordinary Christmas docorations. It would be easy to make them, only problem is when one doesn´t have the straw, and have to buy a big bale (of straw) to get it… 🙂
Hey, merry Christmas to you.
Nice to see that some people still manage to put effort and have traditional Christmas 🙂
To me it was a first year in my life with quite no traditional staff….

We have a few straw reindeer in our Christmas creche, passed down through the generations of our Polish family. Beautiful in their simplicity. Two Christmases ago we visited the Christmas fair in Krakow, Poland, and purchased lots of hand-made decorations.
