These sculptures, made out of an old tree, could possibly be of special interest for Erika, who are working with 3D scultures, and for maantas, that are working with 3D in computer world.

The letters are saying: “De higer og søger, i gamle bøger”, which means something like “They are looking in old books searching for answers”. This line is the beginning of a famous poem written by Adam Oehlenschläger, about a treasure that was found some centuries ago decorated with unknown symbols.

Wikipedia will tell you the rest of this very interesting story of a Danish symbol.

The sculpted bookcase is fantastic, love it! Read the story of the golden horns, I’m amazed that even the finders’ names are recorded! The runes are special interest to me, as they appear very similar to Sekler-Hungarian (my ancestors) runes brought from the Asian steppes before they settled in today’s Hungary and Transylvania. I’m grateful to learn about such interesting things in Denmark through you. Keep them coming! 🙂
