    Yes, the beech wood is a lovely place to bee at, and when it comes into leaf, the light becomes so very green all over.
    We have a lot of beech woods in Denmark, and the beech plant are often used as hedges by people with gardens. In this case the maximum high is 1,80 meter, not full height, which is 40 meter 🙂
    Beech wood is very hard, and have been used for wooden shoes in many centuries.
