Ordinary inspiration

Sometimes, when it seems like there isn´t anything to take pictures of, it’s time to open ones eyes a little bit more. Here is what I saw a rainy day, while waiting for summer to come:  A melon in a bowl with holes, a folded foil, a little puddle, a cherry stalk  and a pizza bag.

( Still waiting for summer …)

Apple

Another apple came my way. Since I learned that some types of apples doesn´t provoke an allergic reaction, -at least not a big one-, I have got a new subject to study closer.  The apples are: Pink Lady, Santana and Elise, and here is the news about that (in Danish) . Pink Lady is available in almost any shop here in Denmark, I haven´t seen the two others. If by any means this news should show up to be wrong, I don´t mind, it works for me. Good taste, good photo subject, and no doctors in sight.

A little music for Scott´s assignment

Once again an assignment has been arranged by Scott Thomas, this time with the subject “The rules of thirds”. Deadline was yesterday, I haven´t had time for joining it, so I will let this musician play a tune while Scott draw the winner of the price, and write the traditional recap. Always an interesting read.

Autumn leave

A bit too early, if you ask me.

Tired peony

What a party it must have been. Here is how Miss Peony looked before the ball:

Hi there…

..have you seen Tracys lazy squirrels ? They sure know how to relax, – unlike me and my brother.

Frostsnow in circles

So this was Christmas

Update:  Michaela´s comment mentioning the real candles, remind me of a story:

Accidents caused by real candles happens, or are being avoided in the last moment. As when my great grandmother was walking around the tree together with all of my big family, many years ago. Slowly of course, she was old. Someone had given her a NISSE hat (santa Clause hat)on, a long red hat with  a cotton ball in the end…now you probably can imagine what happened next…the cotton ball hit a candle and began to burn. “Daddy, great grandmother´s hat is burning”…… she didn´t hear this, and she had to look down most of the time to keep the balance,  so my father grab the hat, stepped on the fire, and returned the hat on her head, without her noticing it. I can still see her raise her head and ask with a smile; What?? And my father answered  ”Nothing. Keep walking”.
