Thank you burstmode. The weather was very nice at midsummer eve this year unlike most years. The celebration of Midsummer eve in Denmark has been painted by many artists, one of the beloved paintings is from 1906 by P.S. Krøyer. (Please see link) Who wouldn´t like to be at that beach…
P.S. Krøyer was living at the top of Jutland, together with other painters, while the light in SKAGEN is very special. Their paintings are beautiful and extremely expensive. http://www.skagensmuseum.dk/index.php?id=681&L=2
Lovely collage, Birgitte. I’m on a mission to change the name to “Beginning of Summer’s Eve” — the weather has barely started to warm in northern Michigan. Ah well. I’ll be whining about the heat in August.
I very much admire your work, especially how you arrange the photos. It looks very appealing.

Drue, I´m so glad to hear from you. Thank you for your nice compliment, it is such a good motivater for me.
Ah, lovely and very summer-y. I suppose you don’t roast hot dogs over this fire.
We Americans are shamless. LOL
LOL! (Imagining the hotdogs disappearing…)
Wow, amazing bon fire, I’d love to be there with a marshmallow, with a flame like that it might just bust into flame.
